After being forced by the wife to watch my 10,000th or so episode of HGTV's landscaper's challenge, it all finally paid off. As they pan the poor couple's dismal backyard they showed his collection of grills. It started off sad as there was a falling apart kettle, some old, pathetic $10 gas model, a vertical smoker of some kind, and, sparkling at the end of the line, a large egg in a modest table. At the end of the day, he had a very nice outdoor kitchen with some monster gas grill and his "ceramic smoker" as he referred to it.[p]It wasn't much of a mention, and the show wasn't very exciting, but it's about the only high point in watching all these shows.
