phew, am i glad to have finally finished using the coconut shell lump - it's hard to light (using mapp gas)and after the first use it creates so much ash that it clogs up easily the air passages within the lump pieces. also after first use, the lump becomes brittle and creates even more waste mixed in with the ash - i will now only use hardwood lump
