Just wondering if anyone knows about how many people will be going/cooking at this Eggfest. Just wondering, it will be our first. Also, is it best to go right in the beginning? Or more towards afternoon? I might have to work part of the day :([p]Thanks for any info...[p]•mojopin

    mojopin,
I went last year just to look around and talk to the people who were cooking. I think there were about 8 eggs going last year. I got there around noon and didn't seem to miss much. The event starts at 9 AM, but by the time you get and light your egg, it will be closer to noon by the time any food will be ready to sample. I'm going and cooking this year. Several other "watchers" from last year said they were cooking this year. Several frequent posters were cooking last year. BBQ Bob, Mr Earl, and Smokin Todd were there. My guess is that somewhere between 30 and 50 people attended last year. I don't know what this year will bring, but it was a fun day and I would highly recommend it. GrillMan
