meat loaf

To those who have not tried it yet....do a meat loaf in the egg. I did 2 this past week. The wife and kids don't like meat loaf...but hey could not get enough of mine. I use the corning-ware type meat loaf dish.[p]1/3 ground pork, 2/3 ground beef, a couple eggs, 2 slices bread all crumbed up...basically any seasonong you like. I cooked mine with mesquite lump at 350 to 375 for 1.5 hours. I throw on a chunk of hickory when I start.[p]It is so good....a plus is that the kids love it.....[p]BBQ-BoB

<p />I totally agree with you, meat loaf on the BGE ios great![p]Last time I did meatloaf, I didn't even use the pan - just made a flat surface from heavy duty foil that redirected all the drippings into the drip pan - less cleanup.

Gfw,[p]good idea....I'll try it next time.....but the way I make meatloaf....it might end up looking like a big fat hamburger unless I have it in a pan....[p]BBQ-BoB
