seasoned skewers?

Anyone heard about or tried these seasoned skewers?[p]sounds like a gimmick to me, but I love gimmicks.

i bought 8 flat skewers from a restaurant supply, they were inexpensive, stainless steel about 8" long

No gimmick these things are great ! I tried the Garlic Herb on beef and it was amazing how the flavor penetrated the meat. I soaked the skewers in beer as directed for 15min and grilled them. Even the kids liked the taste!
