Still got the kids from Fargo here, been a week now. So what to cook now, it's already been butt, ribs, turkey, chicken, steaks, brisket. So I took hamburger(2 lbs) and smashed it flat in a shallow pan with plastic wrap below. Shaped it like a rectangle about 16" by 6". Then put blue cheese, onions chopped real fine, yellow bellpepper chopped fine, garlic, and seasoned it all with salt and pepper and a sprinkle of oregano. Then I rolled it up like an egg roll and sealed the ends so it wouldn't leak. Put it on the small indirect at 275 with Jack Daniels wood chips and cooked for 1.5 hours until the internal temp was 160. MAN THAT WAS GOOD!!

Only problem was cutting it. Use a long sharp knife to slice very carefull without pushing down or the filling will squirt out.[p]

ronbeaux,
Man it sure looks good. But that ain't no hamburger. You need to come up with a more original name for your experiment. Instead of hamburger how about "beauxburger"

Tiger Tony,
Thanks Man! That's what I'll call it.
-
ronbeaux,
Glad to see the good stuff coming off of that small. I know it took a bit to get it to you but hopefully that beauxburger will help to ease the pain.

Bobby-Q,
It turned out it was not cursed after all! Thanks to you I have enjoyed this small many many times and I haven't looked back.
Again THANK YOU for your help!
-
ronbeaux,
Thank you for your patience during all that. I very much look forward to maybe seeing you down in Florida again next year.

Bobby-Q,
I'll be there, save me a mini.
