I was so "floored" today I have to post this!
A few minutes while my wife was out and my boys were at their Aunts house' the doorbell rang.
I went down to answer it and as soon as I opened it I said "Your Earl"!
It was Earl from here on the forum.
We have never met in person but I recognised him from Nature Boy`s pics of all of them at Earls place.
He handed me a beautifully wrapped box with a Christmas card and bow on top..
Inside the box was a bunch of firebricks and a selection of "Char-Crust" rubs......
I couldn`t friggin beleive it.....
Sorry for the over excitedness but my own friends and family could take a lesson from this.......Myself include if the truth were to be known.....[p]There was one drawback about our meeting and that was he couldn`t come in for a visit as he was on his way to another City to visit family.
Next time!!![p]Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all......[p]Roger Mahon!!!!

    Mop,
Now you know why we call it the BGE FAMILY. It has been this way since the first day of the forum and the FAMILY continues to grow.

Mop, Just like the real St Nick, I bet you thought all our stories about the gracious and generous Earl were fables and tall tales. Then on Christmas Eve, there he appears as real as rain, and your faith in the Season is renewed in all its glory!
Yes, Roger, there really IS an Earl!!
