A while back there was some discussion about a spice that is available from Penzey's that was like black pepper but different.
Would someone please let me know what the name of that spice is?
Thanks in advance.[p]Just to check in with you guys...
Sunday night we had brined smoked pork chops
Monday night it was Alder planked salmon

I think you are speaking of Grains of Paradise. I don't think Penzeys carries it...I got mine thru (Vann's spices). It is good stuff, though not cheap.[p]Jobu provided a link a ways back that has everything you ever wanted to know about spices, but I lost that bookmark in a crash. Anybody still have that link???[p]Merry Christmas to you and your family, Rex.
