Hey all, got a large egg about 2 weeks ago after doing alot of research on this forum. Yall provide alot of great info. Everything I have cooked on the new egg has come out great except for some chicken wings that came out to smokey for my liking, but my father, wife and 3 year old loved them. I think I just put them on the grill to early. Did my first pork butt on there the other night. I was suprised at how easy it was to stabalize the temperature after doing some research. I crept up from the bottom and it held at 350 for about 5 hours. It wasn't an all night cook but it tasted great anyway. I let the fire burn for a while at 350 and then put the pork on and the smoke flavor was just right Thanks for the info ,love the egg. :)
