Need help selecting a temperature probe/monitor

I'm sure this has been covered before, so I apologize in advance for being redundant . . .[p]I guess I burned up my cheap Sunbeam temp probe on the last cook (beef tenderloin roast) by letting the Egg get too close to the 400F limit of the probe. I calibrated the egg dome thermometer before the cook and tried to maintain 375F during the cook. Guess it was a bit too close to the limit of the probe (probe quit reading internal temp and would only show "HI"). [p]I want to buy a better unit but don't really know one from another.[p]Anybody have any advise? Right now I'm leaning towards the Polder 894-90 - Dual Sensor Thermometer; it's supposed to provide reading of internal meat temp and oven temp on a single probe.
