just switched from royal oak(dump it in from the bag, i am newbe) to maple leaf, I cant reach dome temp of 600 or more! would this have anything to do with condensation in my thermometer? (which i have)Temps not reading right?
Prior to loading i shop vacked(?) my whole egg, any ash was goners. Loaded my maple leaf, started loading from large to med to small. followed all instructions.
I just opened the vents and had cap off, waited for 700, but never came,hit a high of about 600... waited half hour and then shut everything down,and did cooked the steaks on my gas grill. did I do something wrong?
Everything is lined up!should I just go back to dumping it in??Is it maple leaf?? am so confused!!
