Today in the sunny south AIN'T! However day couldn't be better for being a lounge lizard with no guilty feelings about laying up.Rain and sleet outside visions of chicken wings inside.BTW Bama made a fair struggle,I et a wing in their honor.Just wanted to pass on a SUPER DOOPER version of old basic,good WaWa wings.Couple weeks ago ordered whole bunch of spices from Obieque,the co. that makes the freita mix used in WaWa wings.One mix I got was freita HOT mix. The fixins went like this,Got about 5# nice big wings(Tysons,single pieces)washed and dried,mixed 1part BGE seasoning,1part Obie Freita HOT,3parts Obie Freita original,coated pieces with this and cooked direct at 250° for about 45 min. turning every 10 min.(I cooked the wingetts together and drumetts together,seemed to cook better like that).So far everthing is pretty much standard,Now the secret finish that turned GREAT WANGS INTO SUPERGREAT WANGS!!!!last 5 min.coated wings with HOT version of BONESUCKIN' Sauce,It really finished them off SCRUMDELLICOUSLY,try it Iffen you dare.Good day to eatenloaf.Bob
