Any suggestions as to how to clean a really crusty pizza stone? Dough stuck really bad even using the cornmeal.

    Batonwaver,
after you pull the last pizza off, leave the vents open a bit and let her self-clean.[p]don't go crazy-hot, just let it burn off. flip it a couple times too to get both sides.[p]

    Batonwaver,
If it is crispy you can use a food scraper to get it all off. Just don't use soap or any other chemicals.[p]TNW

Batonwaver,[p]IF the other ideas don't work, you can put it in a self cleaning oven and run it through a cleaning cycle.

    Batonwaver,
After the 'spill' dries out I have good luck with one of those holders that hold a single edge razor blade which is replaceable. Some of the stain gets down into the stone itself but I've never noticed and bad consequences.
