How much wood?

edited 11:51AM in EggHead Forum
How much wood should I use for two slabs of baby back ribs? I have some chunks of apple and cherry wood that are about 2"x2"x1". I think they weigh about 2 oz. each. How many should I use? Should I soak them in water first? Thanks for helping out a newbie.

    Frank,
I would soak them but it's not strictly necessary. Use 3 or 4 chunks. That should be sufficient.
