That's fantastic, Max and Spawn. You're a great role model and 'Father figure', Max, and it's wonderful what you do for your children, not to mention what all you do for your lovely wife and parents. Happy birthday to you and I'm proud to call you my good friend......

Max,[p]Congrats on your excellent results over at the Chesapeake Jubilee. Bruce and I enjoyed meeting and talking with you.
Hope to see you out there next year![p]Thanks for some of the tips and ideas you shared with us.[p]We and our wives had a great time out there as that was the first cookoff any of us had ever attended. We even started talking about a road trip to Memphis in May (or some other BIG event). We do alot of camping and there must be at least a few good campgrounds in the area.[p]Take Care,[p]Steve Short

The Virginian,[p]Great news! Gotta love the max and sidney team... but I have to ask, when it's only the two of them competing, who's the boss?[p]john

The Virginian,[p]this is mr. earl reporting in. First off congrats to Max and Spawn - you'all is awesome[p]And to add to the good news. I was hanging with the Guru guys at Bristol and they took a first place trophy in chef's choice with a recipe inspired by Spawn. Mr. Jim Hatton (?) added a strawberry-chocolate sauce to Spawn's brownie creation. Could not have been sweeter - literally.[p]best to everybody...

The Virginian, a first in brisket, that is way cool. [p]Now I know why Max has been hanging with the Texas outlaws, gathering insider information - as if we know what we're doing! I wonder if having that Redskin hat on a Texas boy a couple weeks ago, helped. Texas is brisket country, they say...LOL[p]Congrats and great job.[p]Tom
