Spatchcocked chicken and how do I cook this????

Here are two photos of a spatchcocked chicken from the other night with grilled veggies[p][p][p]And now the big question. Found this cut of beef at Sams today while looking for a packer cut brisket (they only had flats). Is this the elusive tri-tip or just a big sirloin roast. It is 12.5#. It is Prime beef not choice. Any recommendations on how to cook it?[p][p]Thanks,

JM3, Yepper, that's a roast alright and not the elusive tri-tip. I sure would like to find a tri-tip like that though.

JM3, Oh yeah! I would cook it like a tri-tip though. 125°-130°, slice thin against. Sear first or last, not a lot of fat so I would sear first.
