I have a confession to make. The mexican meat loaf can certainly be made with taco seasoning mix and taste just fine. However, there is a special seasoning mix that I use to make it with and I have posted the recipes under Sauces, Rubs and Marinade. Use it with any Mexican or Spanish dish that calls for Taco Seasoning. I use about 1
tablespoon/one package of Taco Seasoing mix. In other words, if a recipe calls for one package of Taco Seasoing Misx, then I use 1 tablespoon of the Spicy Seasoning Mix. It is without MSG and all of the "other" junk that is present in a package. I usually double the recipe and store it like you would any other rubs or spice mixes. Enjoy!
