    Do you mean an instant read type like Thermapen? Or the kind you stick in the meat on a cable and read with a unit outside the cooker?[p]TNW

    <p />jake,[p]If you are looking for one that you stick in the meat to quickly check as the Whiz asks, then a Thermapen is for you.[p]The Thermapen simply rocks! It's a bit pricey, but there's nothing on the market like it and as fast. Check out the link below. [p]Otherwise, you can pick up a cheap digital one for about 10 bucks, but they take about 10 seconds to get a reading.
