I picked up a box of 16 8 inch square quarry tiles from Lowes for 33 cents a piece on sale from 77 cents each. In another post I will have to put a correction. It was several years ago when I bought the first box. I have the Egg sitting on these too. 
Use parchment paper if you are worried about cooking directly on them.
