Half a Cast Iron Grid
Options
Kinger
Posts: 147
I bought a cast iron grid to cut down to fit my small tonight. I am wondering if anyone has tried dividing their cooking grid in half. My wife does not care for the taste of the grill marks from the cast iron while I really like it. That being the case I am considering making a setup where half the cooking surface is porcelain coated and the other half is raw cast iron. Thoughts please.....[p]JNK

JNK,
Just do what I do, cook both steaks on the cast iron and heat her's up for breakfast with some eggs.[p]Cheers,

JNK,
Why not just cook hers in a small cast iron skillet?[p]Paul

JNK,
Cut your cast iron grid to cover half of your porcelain grid, just lay it on top, preheat, enjoy![p]Big T
