I'm a first time egger. I just got a large egg 2 weeks ago and had some really good stake. I have read alot of good recipes and I am planning on doing a Mad Max or a Super Buzzard or something. Haven't decided yet. But gotta come to a decision soon. Does someone have any suggestions??? Should I go horizontal or virtical??? Thinking about doing a rub with an injection of creole butter. Can't wait to try it out.

The Mad Max is pretty straight-forward, and consistently tastes good. I'd increase his ice bag treatment to 30 minutes, and make sure the breast is turned to the front of the grill most of the time it's in the Egg. Other than that, you have all the info you need in Max's write-up on Naked Whiz's site.
Good luck!
