...occasionally gets some notoriety. Last year it was the Wall Street Jounal. And this year....[p]I wanted a good sound system for my new deck and after a little research, found a company on the Web that sells excellent outdoor speakers. I was unfamiliar with the brand name they carried but their list of applications and clients was impressive, so I bit.[p]This purchase turned out even better than I expected, they sound great and are virtually indestructable. If you like a little music with your Q consider Technomad speakers. They are as weatherproof as Humpty himself.[p]I sent an email of appreciation and agreed to let it be used in their advertising. See Humpty and his musical playpen on the bottom of the main page at the Outdoor Sound Website.[p]K~G

<p />KennyG,[p]Hey Kenny, I thought you could use a little more grass - people will think you're in Arizona. Nice deck - not wood, right?[p]Tim

    Tim M,
I do not recall seeing that much grass when I was there, but it is a nice addition. As a matter of fact, the only thing green was Mr. Big.[p]That was funny.[p]RhumAndJerk

Just proof positive that photos do not necessarily reflect reality anymore. Nice job Tim! He does something growing there.[p]Mary

Tim M,[p]Thanks, You did in seconds what the builder has not been able to produce in 3 months. It is wood, I couldn't afford the fake stuff.[p]K~G

JJ,[p]Thanks for the reminder. Tim M did a good job of creating some green for KennyG's lawn. Maybe someone can create some green for me for some car payments...[p]As long as I have some nice Egged meals and conversations with the fine folks on this forum along the way, everything will be good.[p]Cornfed

    KennyG,
I thought you said you bought it from a dealer here in Virginia? I assumed it was non-wood, was it a kit?[p]Tim

Tim M,[p]I got the plans from that dealer and had it built with materials purchased locally. I found that "maintenence free" composite deck material to command a 25% premium.[p]K~G
