We were talking to JJ yesterday and I commented that I really would like to try my hand with the little devil. My wife spent most of the day making sure I had one when I came home (she is the best and said it followed her home).[p]No cooking with it tonight as leftovers are in order. Both the large and small first cooks were steak, but we're a bit steaked out. Any suggestions? Thanks.[p]A very happy Spin

This is a big celebration. Hows about lobster tails??
Dwell in the Shell recipe should do the trick.
Congrats on the new addition to your little green family!

Spin,[p]I am really happy with both the small and large - a mini would be another nice addition. I am waiting for that mini-pizza recipe. Congrads on the new born.[p]mini1.gif

Nature Boy,[p]You must be reading my mind. I have access to the wealth of the Atlantic directly from the boats and the freezer is filling nicely. Egged lobster is a real treat. Thanks.[p]Spin

Spin,[p]I really don't think you'll regret the purchase. Tonight was sausage on the mini. That little guy can put out ALOT of smoke and it uses virtually NO lump![p]Have FUN!!!![p]Smokey

Spin, three suggestions really...two are brats and burgers, and third is if ya don't feed the little mini, maybe it will leave and come here. :-)
    Lucky Spin...!!

Where do I check to determine the gender of my BGE? Can it be done by sight or do you have to feel around abit?[p]The Egg justs gets better and better......:-)

Aardvark,[p]There is no way to tell the gender of your Egg by feel, nomatter how much you feel around. The only way to tell is by how it reacts when you interact with the Egg. Male Eggs work better with males and female Eggs work better with females. It is a purely natural thing.[p]Spin

Spin,[p]Congrats on getting the little guy. I'll try to get by Daven's Ceramics this weekend and file a field report on what they may have in the pizza stone, firebrick, plate setter line for the mini and the small.[p]Puj[p]

Puj,[p]Wings are in this weekends plan (which is still evolving). The little guy does seem to want to be a provider.[p]Spin
