<p />All these recent posts about beans has caused me to remove wife's presentation bean pot from decor and place it into use as cooking vessel. I'm smart enough to know if this wedding present explodes I need numerous excuses so I have employed nearly all of my Egg Gizmos. Bean pot on right now. Expected cooking finale sometime tommorrow AM. Pot is stoneware and should hold up however anything can happen especially since my redi check does not transmit to under my pillow. Wish me luck.

Car Wash Mike, Those look good however I think beans deserve their time in ceramic just like meat needs an egg. For far too many years folks have been cooking beans in vats then jamming them into cans. Fire went out early AM but not before putting new brown haze on bean pot. Don't know if bean temp drop causes toxic stew? Tough choice: Throw all away or serve plate to wife 1/2 hour before I try.
