<p />yes, this is my uncles place in Slidell, right off of Lake Pontchatrain. Under the big yellow arrow is his big green egg. It was lying on its side, excepting for a cracked firebox that may had already been, not even a scratch. Priceless.

Hey Wil, glad to see you back and posting.
I know Slidell pretty well. It's where we stay for the New Orleans Jazz Festival.
All of this breaks my heart but your photo gave me a lift. It shows tenacity, humor and optimism... very respectable traits, indeed.

house was built on a canal that connects to the lake, the house was 2 story, you see part of a wall on ground level but there is nothing behind the wall. How that piece stayed up is unknown..........lol
