Red Wine/Shallot butter

Someone had asked for this recipe and I am just getting around to sending it.[p]1 c dry red wine
2 tbs diced shallot
1 sm. garlic clove, minced
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 tbs chopped parsley
S&P to taste[p]In a small saucepan, bring wine shallot, and garlic to a boil over hi heat. Cook until wine is almost completely reduced (about 15 min.). Cool completely. In a small bowl, use rubber spatula to mash winbe mixture with butter and parsley until well combined. (You cal also do this in a food processor). Season w/ S&P. Transfer to plastic wrap and roll into a cylinder. Refrigerate until firm.[p]GOes great w/ steaks!
