Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! This week, we’ll be making these two burgers: Stuffed Portobello Mushroom and Caribbean Chicken, and also eating lots of these Ice Cream Sandwiches in honor of National Ice Cream Month! It's time to think about getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

OK, did something new last night took 3 lb of squash, 3 cloves of garlic (smashed), and 1 large onion sliced the squash and rough choped the onion put on the egg with salt, pepper and olive oil at low heat on my grill wok (with holes) with lots of smoke and let the heat build. Once the onions wer translucent, pulled off the egg went inside and took a cast iron skillet, coated w/ olive oil sprinkled seasoned bread crumbs in the bottom, added 1 layer of squash mixture, then swiss and cheddar cheese squash, cheese, and finally squash. Cooked on egg at about 375-400 for about 30 minutes. It was unreal.
