Lump question

Since the Doctor has me off of 4 legged farm animals for a while, I have eaten my share of fish and fish and fruit and more fish. But I seem to like the taste of Mesquite for fish. Since I havent used this in a decade. Will this light the same as my BGE lump with my trusty Mapp torch?

    tach18k,[p]I use a lot of mesquite lump. It is a little sparky lighting with a torch. Wear some safety glasses.[p]~thirdeye~

    I haven't tested any mesquite in a while, but I have a bag next in line. I can't remember ever using MAPP on mesquite so I can't comment. But it will burn hot and if you like it, go for it!
