OCT . . . Jerk Ribs . . .

<p />OCT:[p]Had not had any ribs for a week so I thought I would try some "Jerk" ribs. All I could find late Saturday night that looked any good was Anntony’s Jerk Sauce. Mopped the ribs with a bottle and a half for 18 hours. Ribs were cooked in our normal manner. The ribs were good, but need to be marinated longer or a stronger "Jerk" marinate. Looking forward to your post withyour results with "Vernon's" . . .


  • djm5x9, Thanks for the tip on jerked ribs. I have not received the Vernon's sauce I ordered, but when I do, I will let you know the results.

    RhumAndJerk (what would he know about jerk!) says jerked pork should be marinated 2 days. I did a tenderloin for 24 hours, and could taste that another day would have helped!
