The old egg has been retired for a while and tomorrow we're renewing our romance.[p]What would be your suggestions to cook as we renew our love? I'd like something that takes twelve hours or less.[p]Thanks all, Franco

Franco,[p]Well, you can't go wrong with ribs....... at least on the egg you can't.[p]Mike

Franco,
I think I would find a great place to eat crab legs and pig out. [p]Jerry

Franco,[p]I am with wingfoot. I think that ribs are a great choice. Although a small pork butt could be even better (9Lbs or so). [p]Good luck in what ever you decide, Please us know how it turns out.
Thanks, BB

Franco,[p]A big o' mess of ABT's and a couple of steaks before you settle in for a low 'n slow should just about do the trick![p]:)

Franco,
I'm doing wings and things today, too.[p]Have fun.[p]Mike

Probably the dumb question of the day. What are APT's?
-
Franco,
well, they say there is no such thing as a dumb question. ABT's are probably cooked by all BGE owners who are not jalepeno-phobia.[p]check this link out. there are many variations.

Franco,
to simplify, a traditional ABT is jalepeno halved, scrape seeds and membrane out, add little smokey, cream cheese and wrap in bacon, cook about 350 for 45 minutes or until bacon is done. I cook on raised grid.
