Pork Butt Injection

Has anyone tried injecting a butt? I've only done one butt and it was excellent, but I ran across Chris Lily's recipe and it sounded pretty good. Thanks

    savannahgirl,[p]I think this is a very good recipe for pork injection. The only thing I do different is to dissolve about 2 TBL of my favorite rub into the fluid before I inject it into my meat. [p]Dave

    Easy, too.[p]Lee[p]Chris Lily Shoulder Injection
    3/4 cup apple, juice
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup salt
    2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce[p]Directions:
    Inject shoulder with injection solution (1/2 oz. Per pound). Coat well with rub mixture (4 oz. Per shoulder). Gently pat shoulder so rub will adhere. [p]Cook on pit or smoker for 1 hour per pound on 225 degrees. It’s that easy!
