Butts done early

I'm doing 2 butts for tomorrows neighborhood bbq and I think they will be done too early. If I double wrap them in foil, cover with towels and put them in an ice chest, how long will they hold before I have to pull the meat and serve? What's the best way to reheat if it gets to that. These are my first butts and mine is on the line....Please help a new egger out.
