I was at Firehouse Subs the other day and picked up a bottle of their Datil Pepper Hot Sauce. It’s more like a BBQ sauce than a hot sauce... pretty good stuff.  Has a little bit of a “different” citrus and spicy bbq flavor.  Put it on some cherry smoked, bacon wrapped chicken thighs tonight.

The bacon fat was dripping pretty good, so decided to place them directly on some foil once they got a good bit of smoke.

Finished with the sauce. Pretty simple $2.50 cook — I haven’t really egged anything too exciting lately.

FWIW, the sauce is pretty good and worth picking up if you haven’t tried it before.
