Hadn't had wings in awhile, so decided it was time to fire up the egg and get some going. I've done wings indirect that have turned out great, but figured I'd try a raised/direct method to see which ones I prefer. Got the egg stabilized at 350, put 2 1/2 lbs of wings on, seasoned with Everglades all purpose rub. Turned over every several mins til done (about 40 mins total). Went with a hot terryaki sauce (crystal and soy vay) and put em back on the grill for a few minutes to carmelize.
These turned out awesome. You get more of that grilled flavor vs the indirect method, but both are probably going to be used back in forth depending on my mood of the day.
Thanks for looking.

Looks great! I think it's the first time I've seen Everglades on this forum. I haven't used it much in grilling but for other things, I love that stuff!

Great looking wings. I too prefer the raised direct method, but I go back and forth depending on the fattiness and quantity of wings.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

Some good looking wings! I like the everglades seasoning too! We use the fish and chicken seasoning and the everglades heat seasoning a lot for shrimp and blackend fish.

Some mighty fine looking wings you had there. Good to see some great work coming out of Florida. My best to you and your statesman as you get back to some normalcy.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax
