Nice beef! And that seasoning looks exactly like some I mixed up this afternoon. Supposedly a beef seasoning, but I'm trying it on chicken tonight. =)

I used to prefer strippers to ribeye, no contest. Lately, I have done a compete about face. Like 'em both, but the ribeyes have the edge. Bought four ribeyes yesterday and will try the seasoning in the next day to two. Nothing exotic, here's the mix. Looks exactly like what's on your steak.

    1 Tablespoon chili powder

1 tsp salt (recipe calls for 1 TBLS, but you know that won't happen here!)

    1 ½ tsp garlic powder

    1 ½ tsp onion powder

    1 ½ tsp black pepper

    1 ½ tsp sugar

    1 teaspoon dry mustard

    1 small bay leaf, crushed

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Nice job! Looks good! I did steaks for the first time last Monday. Turned out great. I cannot wait to cook again tomorrow!

Ok, my beef seasoning was great on chicken!! We'll see about steaks in a day or two. It was so good on the chicken, I don't even really care whether it's good on a steak. But I'll bet it is!

Nice size steaks. I agree with the preference for the ribeyes but at $6.97 lb...I'd jump on them as well.

Yep, I've mixed it up with cumin too. That's good as well.
