Where to find brisket in Cambridge?

Hi All!!
i've been looking for somewhere in the Cambridge Ontario area to buy a Packers brisket, but no one knows what I'm talking about.it seems every shop has separated to point and flat and have trimmed all of the fat cap. I thought I found a good place but when I picked it up, it was just a trimmed point.
i'm a little disappointed as I am BBQing for 25 people on Saturdayand have no time to order another. I hope it doesn't dry out too much without fat!!

Good news!! They have it at Costco! We have made 2 this summer and they have been greatIn the bush just East of Cambridge,Ontario

As GlennM mentioned, Costco in Guelph and Kitchener have them, seen more in Guelph. I have purchased some in the past at Dipietro's - You can custom order there also.
I can't recall if it's the full Packer as Costco ... the quality of them is great.Dave

I have bought it st DiPietros before but Costco has really good ones. Both Guelph and Kitchener. You can get a great cowboy steak at Costco as well

No tri tips. At least not so far. The sign in Guelph said "flat" but it was a whole packer. You can easily see the pointIn the bush just East of Cambridge,Ontario

I'm happier now!! The invoice says it's a point, but now that I've got it out of the box and unwrapped, it's definitely a packer. There just isn't much of a fat cap on it.....LBGE

If ever a special occasion, consider SRF Waygu briskets. Pricey but also amazing. Their black grade is all you need, assuming you can't find prime locally and they can cross the border.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

I got it at Meyers Meats in Guelph. I've never tried them before, but a few people at my office strongly suggested them. They had one ready for me overnight!
bgebrent - I found a Wagyu place just south of Aberfoyle. If this one turns out, I might splurge for the next one.....definitely pricey, but probably well worth it!!LBGE

That's the place! I asked for a 12-15lbs packer brisket and I got a price of $250 and they were stocked and ready to go!! Like I said, a bit pricey for my first brisket, but I seriously tried to talk myself into it...LOL!! If this one turns out, I think I'll be shopping for another for Labour Day Weekend!!Wagyu world?
