Whole bone-in on sale at Fareway for $1.79/lb, subprimal came in just shy of 23lbs.
Had the meat counter young buck cut them all to 1.5".

Plowboys Yardbird, Blue K, a couple of hickory chunks, wide open two-zone.  Was inspired by Malcolm's Steakhouse Chops vid.
Thermapen ambient was 102. Lol

Reseasoning the Mangrates will be worth it.
Finished the boys' off with Mumbo.  I had to go with Cookies Sweet and Spicy.  Love that thicker, heartier sauce on a good chop.  It too, was on sale for $1.99 per bottle.

Roadside Peaches N Cream, Kerrygold unsalted, kosher, white pepper.

Great Dog Days supper.
Thanks for lookin', sincere apologies to the ultra sensitive.

    Thanks Pete.
First pick isn't too bad, a couple of the cobs are weak on the ends, but overall good stuff.   We each had two ears, and the boys ate all of their chops without encouragement. Hahaha

    Thanks much.
I have the plastic corn dishes not pictured.  A couple of pats and then a spin, gets a nice quick coating of butter.  Have been raised a corn boiler, even though I like an occasional roast over the grill.

Yessir, that's the best part, cutting each of theirs off the bone and finishing them off like a dog.

Man I miss Fareway. And Iowa pork. The kids at the meat counter knew their stuff too. I told their manager once how professional, courteous and knowledgeable the guys were, compared to other stores. One of the 14yo boys looks at me and says "Yeah, sometimes we like to go over there and mess with them. Just for sport."
