I have the R&B combo and love it. Probably because my two favs are Ribs and Brisket....

The Adj Rig is just the fame. Pick the combo to best suite what and how you like to cook.
I went combo with round stone and added other stuff later.
The oval combo with slider is great if you like to do ribs laying flat.
My XL normally gets the ribs so oval was not as important to me.

I have the R&B Combo that I wanted for ribs and brisket. Then added the spider and round stone as well. Both have their strengths but if I had to choose 1 over the other I would buy the R & B Combo as it gives more overall coverage.

I bought the AR with the 16"" & 13" round stones.several sets of crossbars a second cooking grid and a spider first. I later bought the oval stone, drip ring, 2 oval grids and slider. I use all of them depending on what I am cooking. I cook more butts and pizza than brisket and ribs so if I were to only own one it would be the AR round set up.

I have the R&B combo as well. I never take it out of the egg. I did add a spider and stone which I would highly recommend. It gives you great capacity for indirect cooks by not having the bottom level of the AR consumed by the oval stone

Have two AR's in my two Larges and use them 90% of the time. Have both round and oval acc's.
