OTish: What Do Eggheads Do When They Can't Sleep?!?

Options
Besides sit on this forum, pour a cocktail and talk $hit all night?

Well I guess they make pork shoulders.

And then improve their foxhole.

Shamelessly repurposed a stainless prep table from my sister yesterday and got another wire rack out of storage to organize my Egg junk.

No more shuffling around the garage looking for gloves, tongs, MAPP torch, wood, yadayada.

Someone once told me you're supposed to park cars in here.

Nice setup. I'm sitting on a swing in the screened in porch listening to a multitude of birds, awaiting the sunrise and trying to not wake my wife. Thinking about the sausage biscuit with a thick, juicy slice of fresh tomato on it that I will be enjoying soon enough. A little bit of salt and pepper, maybe mayo, maybe not.

@epcotisbest that sounds like a strong start.

@dsrguns I did some a few months ago braised in reduced sherry, onion and water for about 2 hours then taken out and low and slow the rest of the cook.

They were great and you could taste a hint of the bone marrow on the flesh. Nice touch.

@northGAcock. Yeah let me tell ya how that convo went with preggers.

0300: "why is your phone on?"

me: "my shoulder hurts. I can't sleep"

"well that's all that's happening in this room. Go not sleep somewhere else"

You get more out of your wife than I would (get out of mine).....but you gotta do it.
