Picked up a pair at Target using Code HOME for 15% off, with tax and free shipping, OTD for $45. Plan on using one for each OTG kettle. One could easily find an item to total $35 for free shipping on one dragon wing.

I like 'em.
So when is a 26.75 going to make an appearance in the family pic?

Figures I just deleted their sale email. Oops.

I should have asked the more elaborate question - do they affect the airtightness of the seal between the lid and base?
If I was just grilling burgers or chicken wings the seal would be no big deal but if I am firing up the SnS and doing a pork butt or two any air gap might make getting stable temps a bit of a pain.
The video indicates that keeping a tight seal might be a problem.
Thanks!
I'm thinking my next kettle toy might be one of these - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Weber-barbecue-22-inch-Santa-Maria-style-attachment-accessories-adjustable-grate/131842374077?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIM.MBE&ao=2&asc=41376&meid=6dc43c90d95d4d6695dc5ac21dc44f2f&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=142392927348
A friend of mine got one a month or so ago and has been having fun cooking santa maria style with open fire on his kettle.
EDIT - went ahead and ordered a pair. Will be handy when doing wings which is about all I use my kettle for 95% of the time and lid/base seal is unimportant for that.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -

They recommend installing them over a leg.

@Focker - is the same shelf offered on the BBQ Dragon site? seems it is <$30 with free shipping if I read it right. I use my old 22" as a place to hold the 12" Camp oven. Would be nice to have a shelf on it. Thanks for the info.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Found a small dent, wing still functional.
Sent an email to BBQ Dragon CS, to see what they could do.
Didn't hear back, but had another wing on my doorstep 3 days later.
Wanted to pass this good CS experience along.
I may need to find another kettle now, a redhead would be cool with wings.
