First Turbo Ribs

Sorry no pics of the ribs! Did my first turbo ribs on Sunday for Mother's Day. They were the best ribs I've done on any smoker so far. They had a nice bite and pulled (not fell) off the bone cleanly. They were cooked at 350 for 2 1/2 hours. I was shooting for 350, but the temp was often closer to 370.
On a different note: I did get a pic of the crab cakes!

I've yet to try the turbo ribs but it's coming soon. Do you have a good (simple) recipe for the crab cakes?Snellville, GA

This is the recipe that I used.

I used 1 1/2 pound of King Crab legs and adjusted the recipe accordingly. I would omit any extra salt. These were really good, but the crab is salty enough on its own that it doesn't need any extra. SWMBO really liked them, but commented that she would have liked some kind of sauce with them, Tatar sauce or something else. I thought fresh Lemmon was just about right.XL Central Ohio -
Thank you for the link Billy. That seems easy enough. Wife loves crab cakes so I will give these a shot.

They were good. I'll be making these again. The recipe says you can get 8 crab cakes from 1 pound of meat. I got 8 from 1 1/2 pounds, but I must have made them bigger. Enjoy!XL Central Ohio

To clarify - I bought 2.77 pounds of king crab legs which yielded just under 1 1/2 pounds of crab meat after being de-shelled.XL Central Ohio

Gotcha. I was thinking of doing 6lbs pre cracked and doubling the recipe to freeze half and see how they turn out after reheating. Im still on the hunt for a sauce to go with them.Snellville, GA
