We have a small cherry blossom tree that finally died over last winter. This is not a fruiting tree, just a blossom tree. Is this any good for smoking wood?

    I don't believe it is. Buds are duds.  I cut down the same thing last year and when my "wood guy" showed up with his delivery he said that pile of cherry wood was worthless.
