Biscuits no Gravy???????

So my team at work had a big software deployment that started last Friday and through the weekend and work supplied breakfast for us this morning and that's when disappointment began. So they had bagels, fruit, juice, and coffee out there for breakfast and two pans covered up, so im getting excited about the pans and open one up and see biscuits - sweet we have part one of a good breakfast - I open the other and they are sweet rolls. Im thinking wheres the gravy, the sausage, the bacon, or ham even.... Hell where is the butter and/or jelly? NADA, nothing, zilch... just naked plain biscuits sitting in a pan. Who does that? I mean really? Who orders a pan the size of a 15# brisket full of plain ole biscuits. I couldnt let them all just go to waste so i broke out my honey. I saved one biscuit from obscurity. Rant over sorry I am still in disbelief over this one.....

Someone should be severely reprimanded for that mistake. Gotta have gravy, at a bare minimum!

You should push that up the "food" chain and see where the responsibility sits.  Failed to order or a fail to deliver.  Definitely a teaching experience somewhere.  FWIW-

Especially when there are no doubt 20 great breakfast places within walking distance of where y'all were. 

Nashville is not a place where you should have a hard time finding gravy.

why didnt you throw it at whoever was in charge. all it takes is one thrown biscuit then everyones throwing biscuits

@TN_Sister_State - you can't let yesterday's deal go without taking advantage of the chance to advance the cause of getting it right because it matters.  How else will someone who caused the screw-up ever learn that biscuits as a stand-alone breakfast food is totally wrong?  Think of the follow-on enjoyment such a deal will provide.

I'm a big biscuits and gravy fan too. That said, I've had biscuits so good they were just fine plain or with a pat of butter.

As much as I like gravy, I would forgive them if there was a sausage patty on those biscuits. But plain? That should be a crime.
