Anyone used Original Natural Charcoal?

Thinking about trying some. It's got great reviews on the Naked Whiz, but haven't seen anything here on the forum about it. Anyone tried it?

    Nope. Never heard of it.

I'm perfectly happy with Rockwood so I don't experiment much with other brands.

Can't get Rockwood here in CA. Otherwise I would be all over it.

I may be mistaken, but one of our local egg dealer sells it and 40 pound bags. He has a few sample bags open so that you can see what it's like, seems very similar to Royal Oak. He has natural glow charcoal listed at $24  for a 40 pound bag. I believe this is what he uses is a lower-cost alternative to BGE Lump.   He claims, that it is a higher end Royal Oak even though it's been you facture buy them. If the price is right try a bag see what it's like.
