Something simple but delicious my long haired, forum friends. Deep fried steak fingers, a 50/50 mix of mustard and collard greens, and a little black pan bread just for good measure.
Start with some thin sirloin steaks.

Simply cut them into fingers. Nothing fancy, just hack them up for easy battering.

Then give them a 4-8 hour douch in egg and milk.

In the mean time get some collards and mustards going. Pile that $hit to the top of the pot.

Now get to frying. I recommend 350-375 for most beef. And season your flour extra heavy.

Fry until the bubbling slows by half.

Now get that pan bread going.

Let's eat.

I hope that y'all enjoy this simple but delicious southern meal my friends. And as always, thanks for taking a peek.

Brother Brent, due to it being fairly thin, one batch took 2 minutes at 375 degrees and the other two batches took 3 minutes. Due to the batter they look much "thicker" than they really are.

Scottie, you don't post cooks often enough.

    Beautiful, simple food done right.

I'd never think to cook that but I'd hit that like a fat kid at a carnival.

    Thanks for sharing.
