They still make this stuff right??
my Walmart stopped carrying, now has B&B. And my local supermarket that I used to buy from stopped and now sells Cowboy. I know the owner and he's going to see why they swapped.
I was without my egg for about 6 months up until last month. Was going to buy a few bags but know can't find any.

Home Depot. Check stock online.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Bet Walmart will have it again come spring“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

B and B sucks. I tried it once, dumped most of the bag into the firepit. It
was cowboy bad.

@Mattman3969
they really pretty up the Kroger pack. Simple truth all natural and stuff. Even charge a few more dollars. Just looked again. No info or anything directly linking to RO but likely is._______________________________________________XLBGE -
I usually get mine from Home Depot or more recently Walmart since I've been able to find it for $9.49 17lb bag.LBGE

The Kroger briqs and lump were made by some other company. The briqs were better than Kingsford, but not as good as Stubbs. This was the Kroger brand stuff . Didn't have the Simple Truth brand or logo on it. Was a few years ago. It went on sale so I had stocked up to burn it in my kettle grills and UDS's.

It seems my local Home Depot has RO. Thanks for heads up

I've used briquettes plenty of times. They work fine. Many BBQ competitions are cooked using them.

Never tried it. I was cooking more with lump by the time I got my eggs, and plus I figured they produced more ash so why bother.
I have a long history of hoarding charcoal, so I can't remember a time when I didn't have enough on hand#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

the current cowboy lump is fine, just as long as it is not older stock. it does need a slower start up, it pops if your using a torch.
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
I use B&B all the time. sure, it sparks a little when lighting it. but, works good for me.
-
My HD still has a big stock of the smaller 15 lbs. bags for $12 and change.

I gave B&B a shot. You better wear glasses and long sleeves or you'll get burnt like a mofo! It also took way longer to get going than RO imo.
Ill be gojng to Home Depot from now on for da good stuff. -

Bought this past weekend. Lowes had no RO. Checked online at Home Depot, they had 50+ bags in stock. Got two bags. Also had cherry wood chunks, which I bought.
