Cedar Planked Dropped Cornbread Biscuits - The Movie

Yeah... It's me again. 

This time I tried making cornbread biscuits. Or as some call them, cornmeal biscuits. In my mind they're not really biscuits or cornbread. More like a new species of bread. 

And I decided to compound the issue a little by making them Drop biscuits and cooking them on a cedar plank in the Big Green Egg. 

Like some of you are thinking about now, "I'm not eat'n that!" I thought the same way until I tasted one. Nice crunch on the outside and soft sweetness inside. I think one would really go great with some cane syrup, or homemade apple butter, or maybe a sunny side up fried egg on top. 

Anyway, it gave me something to do and I had fun doing it. Now I need something else to do. The LSU/Alabama game doesn't start until 7:00.
