I wanted something to make it easier to roll the egg around and knew the casters that came on it wouldn't cut it.

Thanks. You can't see it in the pic, but I have the egg handler on the back too. It definitely makes moving it around much easier.

Sweet. I did something very similar to move mine around, but yours looks much nicer.  I expanded the wheel base some to increase the stability when moving it. 

I keep saying I get around to clean it up and paint it, but over a year later that has not happened.

Really cool. If you search old posts @caliking boxed in the nest with slotted angle and made it so you can put the larger wheels like you have on a nest without welding.

This was my copy of what caliking did. I used 8" solid locking casters.

Looks good. I was originally going to do something like that, but luckily I have a buddy that can weld.

Very slick. My mod was as described by @Lit, because I lack welding skills. Footprint ended up being smaller... read= I'm less likely to trip over it .
