False. It is 70 degrees fahrenheit here. 1-1/2 degrees north of that would be 71-1/2 degrees (or 105 celsius)

snow does not fall at 71-1/2 degrees fahrenheit.

    BOOM! That's called math.

  • @BilZol - I wouldn't count on it. It's been 90's for the past 7 months and we just had our first cold front today, so that's why it's only 80. I would expect mid 80's with high humidity, like usual for the first part of November. One can only hope for another cold front, but I wouldn't count on it.

Yes... you are the first.  It is 3C here and pouring rain.  I can't imagine what it would look like if it was snow instead of rain...

No lie...we've already hit for the cycle here in western Alberta.

We had 3 days of solid snow over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend...enough to plow the driveway (three days in a row!).  This was followed by a couple of weeks of double digit temperatures (Celcius of course).  Another day of snow.  And now we're back into double digits again.

Still have snow on the ground around the backside of the house where it slid off the metal roof and piled 3 feet high over Thanksgiving, otherwise we are snow free again.

...but not for long.  Snow tires are already on the vehicles.

You gotta do the conversion: 105 celsius minus 100 = 5 celsius. Take off the word "celsius" and change to "freedom degrees".

100 freedom degrees is divided by the constant of 1776.

    Gives .056 Freedom Units.

Multiply .056 F.U. by the number of Roosevelt's freedoms (4) and you get 71.5 fahrenheit

    math is your friend

In Ontario we cannot 'rub it in' on Electric bills, we have everything turned off and still paying big electric bills, at least we sell it to the US cheap.
