Change of pace ... Apple Cake

We had a friend coming over and Egged the standard proteins, a London Broil steak and some Asian Chicken thighs and wanted something different for a dessert, found this recipe for Apple Cake on an excellent cooking blog in Australia.  I added a little Apple wood to the Egg while baking. Everyone liked the main meal, but the cake was absolutely devoured. Fun to branch out a bit.
